Revolution not personal choice: PM

Kathmandu

Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai said that revolution is not a matter of personal choice. He claimed that it has to have a favourable environment in both national and international arena.
Hinting towards UCPN (Maoist) Vice Chairman Mohan Baidya’s faction at a program organised by the party at Basantapur in the Capital to mark the ‘People’s Revolution Day’, PM Bhattarai said that they have not taken the situation of the nation into consideration.
PM Bhattarai further pronounced his dissatisfaction towards the Baidya faction for calling him and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal as ‘traitors’. Bhattarai claimed that the accusation was just an outflow of emotional resentment without a proper investigation of the situation.
Claiming that the constitution would not be drafted as claimed by CPN-UML and Nepali Congress, PM Bhattarai said that it would be promulgated on the basis of consensus of all the concerned parties and authorities.
Meanwhile, the Baidya faction organised a program on its own at Ratna Park to celebrate ‘People’s Revolution Day’.
