SLC raped candidate admitted to mental hospital

A teenaged girl (SLC examinee), who was left utterly traumaised after she was gang raped, has been admitted to a mental hospital.
The victim, who pursued her studies up to 10th standard with the financial support from various organizations, was expected to bring a remarkable result in the SLC exams.
But the unfortunate girl, aged 17, failed to take her Science paper on Sunday after she was left traumatic state following the incident, sources said.
Amar Awasthi, of Bhumreshwor-2, and Sagar Bhatta, of Gajar VDC-3 in Dadeldhura raped here on Thursday while she was staying at her sister’s house in Patan for the School Leaving Certificate exams.
Meanwhile, police have arrested the rapists and initiated investigation into the incident. The police have filed gang-rape cases against the duo.
Following the incident, the girl has become hysterical. She sometimes run, cry and behaves abnormally, police said.
"A case of gang rape has been filed against the two and investigation has been initiated," police informed.
