UCPN (Maoist) General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa said urged the cadres to be ready for revolution as the establishment is vying to promulgate an anti-national constitution.
Claiming that the government is trying to promulgate a ctimelyconstitution without federalism and identity, Thapa said that there would not be any alternative than to opt for revolution.
Saying that the leaders are trying to reinstate the old constitution, Thapa claimed that the chance of a ‘people’s constitution’ is decreasing. Hence, he urged all the cadres to stand up against the same.
Furthermore, the Maoist general secretary accused the current Bhattarai-led government of promoting corruption, crime, and price hike. Claming that a timely constitution is impossible, Thapa said, “It is time to take risks for the sake of people and their nationality.”
