Prachanda confident on Army integration being concluded by April 12

Chairman of the Unified CPN-Maoist Pushpakamla Dahal Prachanda has claimed that the army integration process would be completed anyhow by April 12. Addressing a mass gathering organized by Maoist in Dipayal today, he said that the peace process was at its final phase. The Maoist chairman said that some elements averse to change were still trying hard to pose problems in the way statute drafting. Stating that his party was for creating a state which recognizes identity, the Maoist chairman said that the failure in that regard would have negative consequences for the UCPN Maoist itself. Speaking at the same program, Maoist leader and Minister for commerce and supplies Lekh Raj Bhatta said that he had fighting for the identity of the Far Western region.
